Skin Faxi is a play on the Norse word Skinfaxi—a legendary horse whose name means “shining mane” and who brings daylight to the world.
Norse language is used because it’s bold, ancient, and powerful—much like the spirit we want our clothing to embody. In our name, Skin represents your outer self—your identity, your protection, your presence. Faxi means “mane” in Old Norse, symbolizing movement, power, and individuality. Together, Skin Faxi means “the skin’s mane”—a poetic way of saying that your clothing is your outer expression, your armour, your light.
This brand is about letting your identity move freely and boldly through the world—just like the Norse horse who carried the sun. Skin Faxi is for those who walk in their truth and, in doing so, light the way for others. Your presence, your style, your story—it doesn’t just express who you are, it inspires others to rise too.

That’s why I want Skin Faxi to go beyond aesthetics and into thoughtful, practical design. We need real pockets—ones that zip up or securely fasten so things don’t fall out. We need clothes lined with better, softer materials because some linings can feel unbearable. We need fabrics that help hide the mess or are easier to clean, or better yet, fabrics that can be wiped down in the moment when something spills.
Colours matter too. I want to carefully choose palettes that not only look beautiful but also subtly camouflage everyday marks—because life happens, and clothes should work with us, not against us.
I also love the idea of multi-functional pieces, like jackets that transform into bags—because utility doesn’t have to mean sacrificing style. Skin Faxi is about creating fashion that fits our lives, our needs, and our identities—without compromise.
This brand isn’t just for the neurodivergent community, but it’s deeply inspired by our experience. Fashion should empower us, not restrict us. Skin Faxi is my way of making that vision real.
